10 Things you don't know about me

Choosing to go on The Bachelor 10 years ago might have been the wildest thing I've ever done! Leaving my job and packing up to fly out to California to film a reality show that I had never even seen!

I jumped right into it with my whole heart. Many of you got to know the version of me that the production team wanted to show. Then, when I went on to become The Bachelorette, most of you got to know me but, it was also the version of me who was desperate for a fairy tale ending...or so ABC showed of me.

I thought I would share a few things about me that you may not know. Plus, it's coming straight from me and not an editing room by someone who well, doesn't know me.

Ten things you may not know about me:

1. Growing up, I never really wanted kids. After my mom died, most of my teens, I was being raised in dis-function junction. I couldn't imagine bringing children into that world. Skip to today, I can't imagine life before Addison and Austin.

2. As a child, I was over-weight. I loved honey buns.

3. Growing up, everyone called me "DeDe" not my given name, DeAnna.

4. I wanted to be a singer when I grew up. I think I have a pretty decent voice but, I have terrible stage fright.

5. I moonlight as a corporate flight attendant for a private jet company.

6. My biggest fear is the stomach virus.

7. I am unapologetically loyal to those I hold dear.

8. I just learned about dry shampoo in the last year. I'm 37. Thanks Valerie.

9. My favorite Holiday is Thanksgiving. {I told you I was over weight as a child}

10. I love to go grocery shopping.

I love getting to know all of you through this wild thing called, social media. I am thankful for the community that I share with so many of you. I feel so loved by all of your comments, likes, direct messages, & comments here on my blog. I love the way we all rally around each other and build each person up through support as little as one like on a photo. I appreciate you!!
